Dandruff can be caused by number of reasons. It could be because of dry scalp or for that matter pollution. Natural remedies for dandruff can help to treat the problem. Listed are some natural remedies for dandruff, read on to know more about it.

1. Baking soda and lemon juice

Baking soda helps to reduce the flakes on the scalp that is caused by dryness. Lemon juice is effective to reduce the dandruff. Take a part of baking soda and add some drops of lemon juice in it. Apply this on your scalp with the help of a brush. Keep it for about ten to fifteen minutes. Now, wash your hair with your normal shampoo. This will reduce your flakes over a period of time.

2. Fenugreek seeds and olive oil

A concoction made from fenugreek seeds and olive oil is excellent for dandruff problem. Just soak some fenugreek seeds for five to six hours. Now, grind the fenugreek seeds. Add the paste to olive oil. Apply this to your scalp and leave it for fifteen to twenty minutes. This may be a bit messy, but it is really effective for your dandruff problem. Wash your hair with normal shampoo. Repeat the process twice a week.

3. Yogurt and neem paste

Another effective home remedy to treat dandruff problem! Just take a part of yogurt and add some natural neem paste in this. You can also add a dash of lemon juice in this mixture. Apply it on your scalp and leave it for about an hour. This natural paste will reduce the itching and flakiness caused by severe dandruff problem.

4. Aspirin in shampoo

Have you heard about awesome benefits of using an aspirin? Well, it can cure your dandruff problem to a very good extent. Just crush a tablet of aspirin and mix it with your regular shampoo. Now, apply it and massage it properly. Don’t forget to use a good conditioner after this. This natural remedy will work well for your dandruff problem.

5. Apple cider vinegar and lemon juice

Both may sound pungent to you, but both are effective in treating the dandruff. Take a part of apple cider vinegar and a part of lemon juice. Mix it well and apply it to your scalp. With the help of a brush cover the whole area. Now, keep this for some time. Wash your hair with a normal shampoo. And, don’t forget to condition your hair.

6. Aloe vera and lemon juice

Use natural aloe vera to treat the flakes on the scalp. Aloe vera also helps to reduce the redness and itchiness that is caused by dandruff. Take a part of aloe vera juice and lemon juice. Mix well and apply it on your hair and scalp portion. Let it remain for fifteen minutes at least. Wash your hair with warm water for best results.

7. Coconut oil and Rosemary extract

Rosemary extract helps to reduce dandruff problem to very good extent. Take a part of rosemary extract and add it in coconut oil. Apply this on your scalp and don’t forget to massage your scalp. Leave it for about an hour or so. You can also use this in natural form. Wash your hair with normal shampoo for best results. This remedy helps to treat severe dandruff problem as well.
