8 Tips to Apply Lipstick to Correct Irregular Lip Shape

Not all of us are blessed with the prefect lips or the prefect pout. Some of us may have thin lips or they may be too thick. They can look droopy and also have irregular shapes. 1. In case of thin lips

If you have thin lips, you should increase the size of both your upper and lower lip with a gentile curving line. This gives your lips a fuller look.

2. Thin Upper Lip

If you have a thin upper lip, you should build up curve of upper lip until it is evenly balanced.

3. Thin Lower Lip

If you have a thin lower lip, do the opposite and extend the curve of your lower lip to balance evenly with your upper lip.

4. Full centered lips with narrow corners

If your lips look like what is known as a Sharp Cupid’s Bow, fuller at the center ad very narrow at the corners, you must fill in most of Cupid’s bow; by widening the sides of upper and lower lips until balanced.

5. Full in the center but tight in the corners

If you have lips that are very full at Center with Tight Corners, you must build out both sides of upper and lower lip, but avoiding too much curve toward corners. Try to make a straight line.

6. Full lips that you want to play down

Keep the lipstick coloring inside of lip line and shade color off at sides. Keep the outer lining a shade lighter than the lipstick color. Keep corners very sharp and clean-cut if you want to tone down the size of your lips and not attract to much attention to them.

7. A Small Mouth

If you have a very small mouth, you should build out sides of upper and lower lips and extend corners of mouth so they will look fuller and your pouts will look sexier.

8. Drooping Corners

Drooping corners may give you a perpetual sneer or a sad look. To avoid this, you can build up the upper lip at corners of mouth.

Look closely at your lips to know what is wrong with the shape. Also look for celebrities who have the same shape as yours and try to see how they have applied lipstick. Sometimes they can be the best guide.
