7 Tips To Reduce Pigmentation


There are many reasons for pigmentation on the skin. Exposure to sun and problem in melanin producing cells are two of the main reasons of pigmentation. It is not possible to remove the pigmented marks unless you go for a surgical or laser process. But, yes you can reduce the pigmentation on your skin by following some simple tips. So read on to know more.

1. Potato and lemon juice

Potato and lemon both are equally good for pigmented skin as they have natural bleaching properties. Take one part of potato juice and a part of lemon juice. Mix well and apply it on your face. Keep it for about fifteen to twenty minutes. Follow the process after every two days to reduce the pigmentation and small pores on your skin.

2. Turmeric powder and yoghurt

Turmeric power is good to reduce marks from your skin and it is effective for pigmentation as well. Take some turmeric powder and mix it well with three tablespoons of yoghurt. You need to make a mask out of this. Apply it on your face and let it dry. Now, wash your face with warm water, it will reduce marks on your face in the most natural way.

3. Cucumber and onion juice

Well, the smell of onion juice may be pungent but is good for marks and freckles. Cucumber juice again has natural bleaching properties. Mix both the juices in equal parts and apply it to your skin. Let it dry naturally or you can wait for about fifteen minutes. Wash your face with lukewarm water for best results. Apply this at least three times in a week for best results.

4. Tomato juice and vitamin E oil

Natural tomato juice can work wonders for your skin. Tomato juice can reduce spots and pigmented marks on your face. So, take a part of tomato juice and add one tea spoon of natural vitamin E oil in this. Mix well before applying it on your face. Wash your face after twenty minutes for best results. This may help to reduce the pigmented marks as well.

5. Aloe Vera juice and oatmeal

Aloe Vera juice also has natural skin healing properties. So, it is effective to reduce the marks and spots on the skin. Take a part of Aloe Vera juice and add some powdered oatmeal in it. Make a mixture and apply it on your face. Wash your face after some time. You will notice a change in your skin texture and your pigmented marks on the face will fade as well.

6. Take care of your face

Well, use products that suit your skin. Don’t use harsh products on your face because that may increase pigmentation. It is important that you use minimal make-up if your face is full of pigmentation. The more you will wash your face with warm water, the more it will have a positive impact on your facial skin.

7. Have a rich diet

You can reduce pigmentation on your face by having a diet which is rich in minerals and vitamins. For that it is must to include leafy veggies in any form. Green leafy veggies are full of iron and Vitamin A, which helps to reduce the pigmented marks on your skin. Fruits and vegetables with carotenes, for instance carrots, mangos, musk melon are rich sources of Vitamin A should be included in the diet as far as possible. Also, include lots of citrus fruits in your diet plan as it contains Vitamin C.
